We had our second English Conversation in the Garden event last Saturday which was a great success in which everybody had fun and improved their English at the same time. We had eight eager Japansese people turn up, which was more than last time, with previous people coming back for more. As for the English speakers we had David and Henry from England, Inga and AG from Russia and Joji who is Japanese.
As usual we started with some drinks and then we took a walk around, strolling through our secret path to the guest house and then up to the tea fields. From there everyone picked some Yozu and to finish we enjoyed some delicious drinks and snacks at the house. There was chocolate cake, macha cake, mochi’s, cheese crackers, Yuko’s special homemade vegan chocolate cake and Sayaka’s fruit bread.
